Terms of use
Updated October 22, 2026.
Using the service
TypeScore Lab provides free educational typing practice. You may use the tests and lessons for personal learning and classroom practice. Use the service responsibly: do not disrupt it, probe other visitors' results, send spam, or submit unlawful material through the contact form.
Practice results
Scores describe performance on the selected task and input method. They are not accredited qualifications or guarantees of workplace performance. Results can change with the browser, text difficulty, device, and input method. See the methodology before making comparisons.
Lessons and references
You may link to the tutorials and use their exercises for learning. Third-party keyboard data and references remain subject to their respective licenses. Linking to an input-method provider does not imply that provider endorses TypeScore Lab.
Reusing site content
Original TypeScore Lab articles, illustrations, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Contact us before republishing substantial original content or using our branding. Do not present a copy of this site as an official TypeScore Lab service. This does not restrict classroom practice, linking, uses permitted by law, or rights granted by third-party licenses.
Availability and corrections
The service and its content may be updated, and uninterrupted availability is not promised. Stored history is limited and should not be your only record of an important result. If you find an error, send a correction so it can be investigated.
Privacy and contact
The privacy notice describes the information handled by the site. Use the contact page for questions about these terms. These terms do not remove rights that applicable law gives you.
