Select the input method you intend to learn

Telugu InScript gives characters fixed key positions. A phonetic IME interprets Roman spelling. Their practice sequences are different even though both produce Telugu text. Select the named InScript reference only if it matches your method.

For native system input, leave Built-in practice unchecked in the main test. The drills below use only system input. If Latin characters appear unexpectedly, confirm your device's language indicator before changing anything on the website.

Keep the base consonant and sign together

The first drill compares క, కా, కి, కీ, కు, and కూ. Use one space between complete forms, and no space between a consonant and its vowel sign. This lets you inspect the vowel choice without the distraction of a long word.

Rendering can change the appearance and position of a sign. Judge the completed Telugu form rather than assuming that every keystroke must leave a separate visible symbol. If the word is wrong, correct the text through your normal input method.

Practise clusters as complete units

The second exercise uses క్ర, ప్ర, and త్ర. For క్ర, the underlying characters are క + ్ + ర. Learn that sequence before trying to accelerate it. A cluster may look compact while still requiring several input operations.

The last exercise says that we read Telugu every day. After a clean attempt, try a short word test and note whether vowel signs or consonant clusters cause more corrections. Use that observation to choose your next drill.
